Dr. Yagmur S. Gök

Dr. Yagmur S. Gök is a research fellow, studying the impact of adapting new technologies to certain markets through the Airline Behaviour Model.

She completed her PhD in the field of Operational Research at the University of Edinburgh, focusing on the integration of simulation and optimisation approaches to solve robust scheduling of airport ground handling tasks, as well as the routing of ground handling teams. 

Prior to her PhD, Yagmur worked as a Lecturer in the Aviation Academy of Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, teaching optimisation and simulation courses to undergraduate students.
